Pink Summer Basket/Unicorn £45 Its Not Me Its You LondonAs much as the subject title is very apt to how my life has been going lately, I'm actually talking about the accessories brand, rather than the infamous line most guys like to reiterate from time to time (OK, always in my case!). Anyway, 'Its Not Me Its You' is an East London accessories brand, made and designed entirely by hand, and a brand you may have seen stocked in the likes of Topshop, Oxford Circus. I am literally in love with their products, and when I saw this bag it was love at first sight, no exaggeration. I'm quite lucky in this case as one of my good friends does the PR for the brand, so I was kindly lent the bag for a short period of time; the purse however was gifted to me for my birthday, and they both match - win win! This is the perfect spring/summer bag and great for quaint little picnics in the park - every time I see it I imagine riding through the streets of Paris on a white framed bike with a basket, with this sitting in it. For now though, carrying it among the streets of London will have to do. Not only is the design utter genius (the cuteness of the leather coin purse on the front, a great pouch for holding your essentials), it's got the most amazing slogan sprawled on it; I mean who doesn't wish they could ride a unicorn? I sure as hell do. I get complimented so much when I take this bag out, and it's one of those items that makes me smile and something I adore owning, even if temporarily. It holds all my Spring essentials and is perfect to take to work. The things photographed are what I have been carrying around lately, my daily necessities you could say. Among the boring stuff like my keys, oyster card and purse, I have my Frankie journal, which I literally couldn't live without now I have a 'grown up' job; my trusty shades for when London does see a lil' sunshine (they were a bargain from Spitafields market); Topshop cream lipstick in Pout (bright orange), which is my absolute 'go to' lip product of the month; Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede, a lovely present from my work colleagues which smells heavenly and instantly refreshes me throughout the day; and some hand sanitiser from Primark, which smells amazeballs for the price, and -when living in London- is a must-have.
What have you been carrying around lately?
