The new Barry M Speedy Nail Paint* is becoming a firm favourite of mine, and something I cannot stop reaching for. There are nine pastel shades in the collection, in which I have two: Pit Stop, which is a really lovely lilac-hued grey; and In a Heart Beat, a pinky coral shade. Pit Stop is the one I have been wearing non-stop on my nails since I received it, while the new formula is ideal for those, like myself, who hate painting their nails. This is the first quick dry polish collection from the brand and I would say it touch dries within 60 seconds, but still needs a little bit longer to fully set, but not that much longer. What I really like though, is the new brush. It reminds me somewhat of the brush found on the Bourjois nail polishes: flatter and designed to suit the shape of nails, dispensing just the right amount to coat the full nail in one swipe.
As a lazy nail painter, I have also been really enjoying using this nailcals set from DIY Nails*. There are so many amazing designs to choose from, including fast food, cats(!!), sweets, make-up, and slogans. The designs I have comprise a selection of Nancy MC decals, which range from a lipstick to an eyeball, and even a pretzel. I applied the donut decal on my accent finger to show you how cool they can look. I only wish I had gone full out now and put them on every nail. I think I will save them for a special occasion, though as you only get one sheet in each pack. These are super affordable and easy to use, albeit some designs are a little more fiddly. You simply cut out your design, dip into water and peel off and stick - then seal it down with a top coat. In this case, I used the new Barry M Plumpy Nail Paint Top Coat, which provides nails with a plumped up gel finish. The polishes are already available in Superdrug and from today, Boots.
