Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Stoned Rose
This is definitely my 'go to' lipstick of the moment, and although I have featured in a few posts, I have never done a full post dedicated to its beauty. I'm not a huge fan of natural looking lipsticks, I am not really sure why, but I guess I always felt they washed me out due to my skin being a very pale tone. The Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in Stoned Rose* was a game changer for me, which is ironic because when I first looked at it I wasn't too fussed. I can't say it would have been something I would have been drawn to when at the CT counter, but it's definitely opened up my eyes to a bigger range of shades, as opposed to my usual purple lipsticks. Stoned Rose is a slightly warm, pinky-brown shade which is both pigmented and natural looking. The formula, like many CT lipsticks, is faultless; it's smooth and creamy, but not too creamy that it slides all over the place. I'd say it's a semi-matte lipstick which isn't at all drying, I actually find it quite moisturising considering how long it stays put. Queen of cosmetics, Charlotte says it is: "enriched with a breakthrough, secret ingredient, the Lipstick Tree, an anti-oxidant that naturally protects lips from UV damage and external pollution leaving them cashmere soft and irresistible". That it does, and I now cannot wait to add to my Charlotte Tilbury lipstick collection - at £23, I don't think the price is too extortionate, either. What's your favourite CT lipstick? Anything else from the range I need to purchase?
