When the DKNY Delicious Delights* limited edition fragrance collection landed on our desk at work, I found it difficult choosing which one I would like to try. Fighting off my fellow colleagues and being torn by the dreamy, sorbet pastel hues of each bottle, I did a quick investigation into each one and the notes it contained. Initially, I was drawn to the pink and purple bottle (Fruity Rooty), purely on aesthetics alone, however after focusing on what's inside rather than just the colour, I finally settled for Dreamsicle. Each fragrance is inspired by tantalising sorbet treats; sugary sweet and perfect for spring/summer. I adore sweet and fruity scents, Jo Malone Red Currant & Cream was my fragrance of choice last year, so I am happy to this year replace it with this DKNY version. Dreamsicle opens with mouth watering notes of mandarin, raspberry and blackcurrant; contains heart notes of green apple, blended with peach nectar and apricot sorbet, leading to a base of cedarwood, sandalwood and vanilla. If you can't picture how it smells, imagine an Italian gelato store in the height of summer. Are you licking your lips yet? Each scent is housed within the traditional DKNY apple-like bottles, now reminiscent of pastel scoops of fruity sorbet. If you would like to read about the other two fragrances, you can read the full post on DIARY directory here. All three fragrances can be on your dressing table from March, priced at £37 each. Will you be scooping up all three?
