WISHLIST: Beauty

My beauty wishlist, like many others, is always extending. I like to write everything I want down - which just as so happens to be a lot most of the time - in my diary, just in the hope that at some stage I will be able to cross something off. As a rule of thumb, I try and allow myself one purchase each pay day (yes I am poor ALL THE TIME), which to some isn't a lot, but it makes me feel happy to know I can have at least one thing new each month. Deciding what to buy, well that's another story...

beauty wish list

This month I really want to purchase something from a brand I have never tried, or haven't tried much of. The Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Glow has been on my list for a very long time, and the brand is launching a new Medium/Dark shade in August, which is very exciting! I think I would have to stick to the lighter, original shade though, due to being sheet white. I've also never tried anything from Too Faced. Yes, I know, where have I been? The packaging pulls me in every time the brand posts a new post on Instagram and I get envious that I can't go and buy myself a whole kit. I know the Too Faced Snow Bunny Bronzer is ideal for winter, but I really think it would suit my complexion throughout the summer, too. BUT, how amazing does the Bobbi Brown Telluride Eye Palette look? Holy mother of everything holy. This launches on 4 July at Selfridges and I just may have to get it.

My moisturiser is nearly up *sobs*, so I think I want to re-purchase Origin's GinZing, as I have had it before and loved it during the warmer months. I just can't get over how good it smells, am I right? My mascara is also nearly used up, so I am dying to get my hands on the Fairy Drops Mascara, I have only heard good things, and as we've already established, I am a sucker for cute packaging. I also would love to try the Laura Mercier Silk Créme Foundation because a girl can never have too many foundations. I feel the moisturising version will be fab for my skin during the summer.

My hair is in a bit of a state lately: the colour is faded and patchy, my roots are glaring and my ends are dry. The next time I am back in my home town, I am going to pop to Sally's to finally pick up the Maria Nila Colour Refresh in Vivid Violet, to see if it can perk up both the colour and condition of my hair. In terms of skincare, although I love my trusty Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, I really want something new to try, and I have never tried a balm cleanser. After using Emma Hardie's P&P SPF 30 (see below post), I am dying to pick up the Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm - as well as the fact that it has cult status. Let's be honest though: I am probably going to pick up another MAC lipstick. I need a nice pinky everyday shade, so MAC Pink Plaid is top of my list!

  1. If you're only getting one thing from this list, make it the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Glow - It's the best thing I've ever tried!
