IT Cosmetics offers six core products in the UK, of which I have three. It's hard to choose a favourite because I really love all three, but the Bye Bye Pores Poreless Finish Airbrush Powder is a gem. I have really got back into using loose powders recently - and despite being slightly messy to work with - the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Poreless Finish Airbrush Powder (£29)* sets my make-up without being too dry or cakey. The powder works to erase the appearance of pores, wrinkles and excess oil and offers a matte finish. The powder is to be used with the accompanying Heavenly Luxe Airbrush Powder Brush*, which *OH MY* is SO soft. Like, seriously soft. I mainly use this powder to set the oiler parts of my face, which tend to be my forehead and chin. What I am especially drawn to is that although it's a mattifying powder, if I am wearing a particularly dewy foundation, the powder doesn't completely take away the glow. And we all know how I love me some glow!
The final product I have is the Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil Duo (£22)*, a transforming, long wear eyebrow pencil with a waterproof and smudge proof formula that adjusts to all brow colours. I was really sceptical at first to see how an eyebrow pencil could offer one universal shade, especially because I am a big fan of dark and defined brows. FLEEKY BROWS ALWAYS PEOPLE. Well, I do try. This pencil, however, matches my brows perfectly. It's not the best brow pencil I have ever used, possibly because I am used to a smaller nib like the ABH Brow Wiz, but it does the job pretty well. I find the spooley a little big also, but I have a separate spooley brush for my brows anyway. I guess I am rather fussy over that part of my face. The product doesn't budge when it's on though and pretty easy to get a defined shape.
The only slightly frustrating thing about IT Cosmetics - if I really had to nit pick something - is that the packaging (although very sleek) has that same kind of material on its products as NARS. Y'know the stuff that shows every slight make-up mark and fingerprint, but to be fair it washes a lot easier than NARS' products so all is forgiven. I am definitely looking into trying the base products, and will be keeping a close eye on what's to come next. Have you tried IT Cosmetics?
