Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette (£23)* - I'm not usually one to wear a lot of matte eyeshadows, but on those days where I've been going out anywhere after work, I have turned to this palette for a natural but a bit more put together look. I prefer wearing a wash of matte shadow instead of going totally bare. Urban Decay eyeshadows are one of the best formulas I have tried, they're pigmented, long lasting and blendable. What's not to love?
LUSH Emotional Brilliance Translucent Face Powder (£12)* - One word for this. WOW. I didn't even know LUSH did such a comprehensive line of make-up, but this powder is brilliant; I am really impressed. It also looks really pretty in all its pink glory and sets make-up really nicely without setting into the pores or looking dry. The powder obviously has a pink undertone which is perfect for my skin and also contains light-reflecting pigments which work especially well under the eyes.
Illamasqua Lip Lure in Bloom (£16)* - I'm still not over this range; not one little bit. This colour is the perfect 'your lips but better' shade for everyday wear and it last such a good length of time considering it's not a matte formula. You can see the full Illamasqua Lip Lure collection in this post.
Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream (£22)* - this has done wonders at sorting out my dry, dark under eye circles and really hydrates and de-puffs my eyes in the morning. I'm really bad at remembering to use an eye cream, but this has made such a difference that I am forcing myself to remember. I also really like how this applies with a little ball dispenser - so handy.
Models Own Nail Polish in Colour Chrome Copper (£4.99) - I have been wearing a lot of rose gold lately, and I've recently purchased some rather lovely rose gold Birkenstock-style sandals which look amazing when my toes are painted with this.
Cetraben Cream (£4.99)* - Probably the most random from my selection but at the beginning of the month as my acne was clearing up, my skin got really really dry, especially in the inner-corners of my mouth. Y'know when you open your mouth and the corners crack? well I tried every product I had, including oils, to get rid of it and nothing worked apart from this Centraben cream; it was great. It's designed for problematic dry, sensitive or eczema prone skin so definitely give it a whirl if you suffer from any of those.
