The ghd Platinum Styler features copper sparkly floating plates and matching wishbone hinge for greater control. Each styler contains the brand's patented tri-zone technology, which uses three sensors in each plate to maintain a safer-for-hair heat - I love them!
I decided to do a half up half down look, putting the top half into a bun. I then curled the bottom section with the straighteners after using the ghd Curl Hold Spray and ghd Heat Protect Spray. The only annoying thing is my hair doesn't hold a curl very well, which I think is down to the excess dying, but I kind of liked how they dropped out into loose waves.
I then added some glitter to the bun and added this gorgeous rose gold and pearl embellished head band. I am not sure if this was meant to be worn the other way around, but I kinda quite like it like this. I'd definitely recreate this for a Christmas/festive party. The only thing to watch out for with headbands like this is that my hair got so tangled in all the little leaves. I got myself in a little bit of trouble trying to take this out aha! Just imagine the headband hanging from one side of my head ;)
So I task you to glitz the season and glam up a look of your own with a hint of sparkle, or a lot of embellishment with hair accessories. If you fancy winning a glitzy gift from ghd, share a photo of your festive hair using metallic accessories or hair embellishments using the hashtag #GlitzTheSeason to be in with the chance of winning limited edition copper luxe gifts. A winner will be selected every Saturday until 7 January. You might even get to see yourself on the ghd hub area!
